Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Gatineau/Manoir du Casino

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the restaurant. Our included breakfast was excellent. The employees were friendly and efficient throughout the hotel. We highly recommend this well located hotel.

Liked: Large, clean, comfortable rooms including some thoughtful extras.
Disliked: Surprising - no laundry bag in the closet.

Liked: The location was the only good thing about this place.
Disliked: The property was under construction. Our room was dirty and there was hair all over the bathroom. We could not use the closet as there was a hole in the ceiling with pieces of insulation all over. The hallways were very dirty and the room numbers were propped up against the wall. Received a few breakfast on the first day but was told could not get one for the second day because the construction was suppose to be over. Went to sign out the second day and was told we had a free breakfast but it was too late in the day. Our room had a staircase going down to the floor below which was very unsafe and no idea why it was there. So many other things!

Liked: Did not recieve room booked we didnt stayFemale staff did not acknowledge me but only spoke with husband in french even though room was in my name and she had my husband sign for my card. I do not speak french. All emails from hotel were received in french with no way to translate. Male staff Johnathon who gave us a refund was pleasant and helpful taking time to explain to me the refund of our room.
