Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Gatineau/Manoir du Casino

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the restaurant. Our included breakfast was excellent. The employees were friendly and efficient throughout the hotel. We highly recommend this well located hotel.

Liked: Large, clean, comfortable rooms including some thoughtful extras.
Disliked: Surprising - no laundry bag in the closet.

Liked: Very dirty garbage in the garbage, no towels in the room.There's a speaker in the hallway that was on all night playing music

BAIT AND SWITCH !!!!

Liked: Breakfast was good, bed good too place was clean but not sparkling.... but you cannot enjoy all those very little good thing when you get hit with Bait N Switch say they have a spa bath and you get a room with none try again the next day they give you a broken spa bath and you pay extra for this and you get scammed with a little compensation not even worth the lost time nor even the bait N switch book somewhere else
Disliked: Bait N Switch ... photo and text say spa bath but none in the room was the first thing we got welcomed to then no help the 1st night, next morning we get transfer to a room with a broken spa bath... they gave me twice a small rebate but is far from enough to make up for the trouble and loss of time ( we lost 6h total with this hotel in 2 day ) normally most hotel ( 3 hotels in 10 years dint and got bad review like this one ) resolve problems the 1st night and make up for it having less than 30% off from the manager is a disgrace... its supposed to be a 4 star hotel but act like a 1 to 2 star one stay away from this place it was not worth the price and trouble... and if you do book this place dont expect much you wont be disapointed

Disliked: I had booked the hotel through Booking.com for which I was charged, and upon entering the hotel, they asked me for my card to make the corresponding deposit of 50CAD, which was not the case and I was charged for the reservation, as I said before, I had already paid, so in conclusion the reservation was charged twice, and when I tried to solve the problem by speaking with the hotel, the woman who assisted me did not give me an option to get my money back, besides the fact that I was treated very poorly, I really hope to get my money back. It is important to clarify that there are two reservations here on Booking for two different rooms whose charges are duplicated by Booking and by the hotel.

Pleasant

Disliked: The pool and several facilities were on renovations but before I booked my stay, they said the pool was available. I wish they could have said the truth, other than that, the stay was good
