Only if you’re desperate
Liked: Convenient location and good parking
Disliked: Corridor my room was on stank. I don’t know if it was mould or body odour but it was foul. The pictures on the walls of the corridors were soaked on the inside of the frames with condensation. Room is pretty poor. Old. Don’t expect much. Much better options

Liked: Just off the M5 motorway it was great for access and the parking was free. Despite being nearly 6 miles from Birmingham city centre an uber was only £12, which overall was a huge saving over staying at a more central hotel. Staff were polite and helpful upon check in. The onsite bar is small but has what you need/want. Restaurant menu is fairly priced, I recommend the Aberdeen Angus Burger ....
Disliked: A lot of effort has gone into keeping the reception area looking immaculate but when you venture into the corridors there is a musty smell (I think maybe the carpets.) The rooms are fine and have what you need, but perhaps need a lick of paint and some general TLC in the bathrooms will go a long way. To be fair there was evidence of this in some areas so it looks like the hotel are trying to get on top of it. We had a nasty wake up call at 03:55am due to the fire alarms going off - This turned out to be caused by someone vaping in their rooms so it was in no way the hotels fault. The reason I mention this is to warn the smokers and vapers to not puff away, the hotel detectors are very sensitive and you will be public enemy number 1 from a few hundred p1ssed off guests... The computer tells the reception staff exactly which room started the alarm. You have been warned!!!
