The Spotlight on Ramada London North M1

Comfort and Convenience Just Off the M1

Modern and functional, Ramada London North M1 offers an easy, budget-friendly stay just outside central London. Situated near Watford and conveniently located between junctions 2–4 of the M1, it's a smart base for those heading into the city for a gig or event, with a quieter setting to recharge after the show.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re only a short drive or train ride from London’s major venues, so catching that long-awaited show is a breeze. Late-night arrivals are no problem with 24-hour front desk and flexible check-in from 15:00. Rooms are well soundproofed, giving fans a peaceful post-concert wind-down. The hotel also has a taxi service on hand, making late-night returns even easier.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends planning a gig weekend
Solo travelers ticking off a bucket-list band
Couples looking for a relaxed base away from the city noise
Fans who want a more chill, post-show space
Budget-conscious music lovers who’d rather spend on tickets than accommodation

Food and Drink Options

With 24-hour room service, hunger won’t ruin your night, even after a late encore. The hotel also offers grocery deliveries for those sticking to a budget or dietary needs. While there’s no full-service restaurant on-site, there are nearby eateries accessible by car, and breakfast is available to help you recover after a long night out.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself isn’t a nightlife hotspot, its location means you can enjoy London’s buzzing bars and venues, then retreat to a more peaceful setting. If you're driving, nearby Watford has pubs and bars worth checking out.

What People Say

Guests love the clean, comfortable rooms and highlight the friendly, helpful staff. Many mention the hotel’s good value compared to central London options, especially for short stays linked to concerts or events. The free Wi-Fi and 24-hour desk are also frequently praised.

Areas for Improvement

The location isn’t walkable to central London venues, so transport planning is key. Some guests note that the surroundings are more service-station than scenic, but it's a fair trade-off for the price and ease of access.

The Bottom Line

A solid, budget-friendly option for concert-goers who want comfort, quiet, and convenience without the central London price tag.

Good - 3.5 out of 5

Robert Wed, 21 September 2022

Liked: Everyone I met at the hotel had a friendly and helpful manner. The location is a given between the busy M1 and a major railway line which meant there was external noise in the rooms. The property needs some TLC to fix one of the out of service lifts.
Disliked: Some lights in the room didn't work and there was a trickle of water from the hand basin tap
