We had a wonderful experience...

Liked: The hotel was located near to a shopping centre and amenities. Our room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Kerry on Reception and John behind the bar provided excellent customer service and were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Although there were tea & coffee making facilities in our room, it would have been helpful to have water bottles or somewhere to refill an empty water bottle. I didn’t like the idea of filling the kettle from the bathroom tap.

Liked: Room size
Disliked: Size of bed. Shower not very strong. Room not cleaned on Sunday. Run out of toilet roll due to room not being changed. Asked reception 3 times and not replaced.

Suited me for the short...

Liked: Location good as just a short walk from the Quayside and Glasshouse. Longer walk into the main centre. Staff overall were lovely.
Disliked: The room was very basic. No wardrobe - just hangers. Bed comfortable-ish. No bath and the shower wasn’t that powerful. Lighting wasn’t great. And the desk with the mirror was bad design. The pull out shelf for the kettle and cups etc seemed a good idea but to plug it in you had to lift the whole plastic tray with the cup and kettle up onto the desk anyway in order to plug it in. Mirror was very low. All little annoying things.

Value for Money , Friendly...

Liked: Rooms are a good size, friendly faces and people. Close to the venue and eateries. Breakfast was good and Carol was super friendly and helpful.

Was a good stay but...

Liked: Beds were super comfy. Glad I could open the window as there is no air con.
Disliked: The wet room shower, water goes everywhere and all over the whole bathroom. Not my preference. Good pressure in the shower but so impractical with no shower door or even anything to stop water from leaving shower area. Lighting is pretty poor in the room.

Liked: My bed was massive
Disliked: Chair in the room was stained, so didn't use that.For how big the room was, the telly was tiny but totally not a deal breaker

Liked: Room was great with an excellent larger than average kingsize bed.The staff at breakfast were very friendly, upbeat and had pride in the job.The barman was very helpful and informative.
Disliked: The shower was not the best and needed a bigger shower head.
