Liked: This was a gathering of family to bid farewell to my parents as we put their ashes into the columbarium in Westlock. I booked 3 rooms, all were clean, beds comfortable, and cosy.The rooms were well appointed, making the stay comfortable and easy. Breakfast was included in the cost and was very good. The dining room was very busy as the hotel was quite full, but the food wasn't short of anything for more than a few minutes to be refreshed. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, we've stayed here before and will again. The staff are friendly, try to be as helpful as possible but sometimes are overwhelmed with the number of people checking in all at once, when they are the only one there, the phone is ringing, and people are wanting to buy from the canteen too! Be patient with them, they are only one person!There's ample parking, the area is clean and well lit. Tim Hortons and Boston Pizza are both within walking distance of the hotel to address your various Hunger cravings, or coffee and donuts.I put in a request for a late check out for one room so that we could have a space to gather after checking out until we went for lunch prior to the Inurnment which they granted, as well as a request for no /lowest scent protocol for a scent sensitivity, and they did their best to accommodate this as well.
Disliked: As I said I booked 3 rooms, two of which were identical, but the prices were not! The third was a triple queen beds room and cost less than a double Queen room? Aside from that, I have no real concern or complaints.

Excellent stay, I would do...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent with lots of options, the staff was quite friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent in a quiet part of town
Disliked: Vegetarian options are limited, which is typical for most hotels. (instead of just bacon and eggs, you could throw in some baked beans as well),
