Ok Stay

Liked: They have started renovations, but have a bit to go, especially on the outside.The pool was ok.
Disliked: The roof was in horrible shape, leaking into the drive up where the ceiling was about to crumble. The ac in the room leaked water all over the floor. Bed popped when getting in/out and the outside is in desperate need of paint. Overall, it was kind of what I expected, but definitely not 3 star as advertised.

The room was clean, close...

Liked: The room was clean and it was on the main floor. I appreciated the online check-in because it made getting to the room a lot quicker. The front desk attendant was very nice.
Disliked: The breakfast was not what I expected. The television was difficult to work. I could not get it to turn off once I finally got it to come on.

Will not stay here again

Liked: The closeness to the University of Alabama.
Disliked: The room was loud. The shower was moldy. The AC was ridiculous and you could see outside in the gaps around it. Smelled of stale smoke and must. One bed was broken and made loud noise anytime you moved

all in all, it was...

Liked: The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean and furnishings were new and up-to-date
Disliked: The rooms were looking on the outside of the building instead of the inside there were people partying and smoking outside of their rooms late at night

10/10 a great deal and...

Liked: Upon arrival, the front desk clerk greeted us with a smile. Check-in was effortless. Our room was very clean and appeared to be newly remodeled. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The a/c worked great. The pool and patio area were very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Definitely a great place to stay for a great price.
