We always recommend this as...

Liked: The breakfast could have had some potatoes. Millie was great as a waitress for dinner. Employees were all friendly and helpful.

I would not stay there...

Liked: Location
Disliked: The hotel smelled of disinfectant, no hot water in the shower in the morning and the breakfast was not up to par - scrambled eggs and sausage were barely edible. Receptionist had nothing to say other than the hotel was under construction and I was lucky because sometimes they had no running water. Not a good excuse. They should close down if they can not offer the required accomodations.

Exceptional

Liked: Everything. The restaurant and bar was excellent ffor food and drinks
Disliked: There was nothing to not like. The price was reasonable and the room was big and very clean

Friendly staff and comfortable bed.

Liked: The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and I liked that they had a bathtub. It is conveniently located off the highway as well.
Disliked: The pool was not open. They said they would open it in May. Part of the reason I booked that hotel was so we could have a swim.

Liked: Breakfast was great

Guess sometimes you don’t even...

Liked: This is now our 3rd or 4th stay at the property and as it’s always been a stop because it’s convenient in location and bug free, it has always been under construction. No restaurant open, tarps hanging, stale pre-wrapped (yet unwrapped) cold cinnamon rolls as the breakfast we pay for as part of the amenities of our stay. Being we were familiar with the property, we were happy to see the hotel had seemed to make progress with the pool being “open” (at least filled), tarps down, online check in process and that the restaurant was open. We ordered dinner last night and were easily able to take it back to the room. We even have the text which responds that we are able to bring food to the room. 
Disliked: Assuming breakfast would be a step up from our previous stays being that there was obviously a working kitchen on property had us hopeful to grab breakfast, as we always have in the past and as we did with dinner last night, only to be told in the morning that breakfast food is not allowed in the rooms. We were provided the following reasons: •There’s a sign •It’s the owner’s rule, not theirs•”It’s because of the pet owners. Dogs eat it then pee in the room.” And it smellsRidiculous reasons aside, I pointed out that there is also a no smoking sign (photo attached), meanwhile the whole hallway overwhelmingly smells like marijuana.  The response I received was that they can’t possibly stop everyone from doing everything. I emailed Tika, the property manager and have yet to get a response of any kind.

Worth the price and like...

Liked: Restaurant in hotel was excellent. Arrived late at night they accommodated us willingly. Staff was very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was OK.
Disliked: Need better selection on the breakfast and improvement on the scramble eggs.
