Ramada by Wyndham San Diego Poway Miramar

Miserable, hope not all Ramada...

Liked: Breakfast has no eggs, not much choice of items to eat, so poor when you paid more than $190 per night.
Disliked: Room was full with stinky sewer smell when we entered then my wife put a cup over the sink’s drain hole it blocked but not completely. Wall was no noisy proof so whenever next rooms guest shower and flush water bothers us whole night. So bad.

Ok but Not a Real...

Liked: Room was pretty clean; beds were comfortable; honored our request for a quiet and smoje free room.
Disliked: Hardly and protein offered at breakfast, i.e., nk eggs, sausage, or bacon. Mainly carbs because they said they serve eggs, etc. "mainly July through September." The hotel had a few rough edges and was overall just ok.

Liked: Although the building was old and could have used a new coat of paint, it was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: For some reason I was unable to get any channels on the TV for all 4 nights. I notified the front desk and man came to checked it out but was unable to fix it. As I was traveling alone it would have been nice to have a little TV.

Poway Ramona is fine value...

Liked: All went well - good parking, clean and large room, equipped with both a fridge and a microwave. Also hair dryer, ironing board & iron, big TV, good hot shower with squirters of soap, shampoo, conditioner. Good breakfast bar for this price/class of motel, clean operational pool (weather still a little cool for me to try). Location is central to many shops and offices, right next to several fast food restaurants, including burgers and Mexican. Motel has a small shop with packaged snack food if you don’t want to hop out. I felt well-treated and safe here.
Disliked: My main suggestion tor improvement is to leave a blanket available in the room. I had trouble being either too cold or too warm, and a blanket would have made my night much more comfortable. Also, a nightlight would have been helpful - pulling the curtains made the room pretty dark. I’ve seen some motels install a bathroom hair dryer that doubles as a nightlight.
