Small rooms, but very clean; perfect for a quick visit to Oakland.

Liked: Short walk from the BART and London Square.
Disliked: Front desk was very friendly, but uninformed about public transportation - didn't know that BART is connected with Oakland Airport.

Comfortable enough, okay location but...

Liked: Upon arrival, we waited about 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk to check us in. Once they arrived, the check-in process was smooth and the staff member was very friendly and was kind enough to upgrade our room from a double bed to a suite.However, when we got to the room, the door was left slightly open and there was a cart with tools inside. We informed the front desk, and they promptly removed the cart. Unfortunately, the room experience continued to be a bit unsettling—while we were resting, an employee knocked on the door but entered the room before we had a chance to respond. We were startled and called out to them, but the employee left without saying anything.Additionally, the shower had incredibly low water pressure when the hot water was on, which made it impossible to use. To top it off, the power went out about an hour before we were planning to check out.I’m not a very picky person when it comes to hotels, however this was hands down the worst experience I’ve had at one. The staff were friendly enough but someone just walking into our room made me and my friend incredibly uncomfortable. Not being able to take a shower was rough and the power going out at the end was just the cherry on top.

Mixed bag

Liked: The toilet was not flushing. I then asked for a plunger, which then came from the cloak room soiled including vomit on it. Person did not bother to give a clean one.
Disliked: Price, and location

Very good

Liked: Good location closer to BART station. Interesting restaurants nearby. Excellent for going to concerts at Oakland Arena. Friendly staff. Clean room. Breakfast was ok, but the staff was attentive.
Disliked: Mattress was too firm for me. Milk in the fridge was off both days I was there.

Liked: Great place staff was very nice and helpful I will definitely return and tell my family and friends about my wonderful experience here and must I not forget the great breakfast you cook and serve yourself all around great stay I found my home away from home.

Poor

Liked: Old hotel, dirty. The staff and price is what got me but I didn’t feel comfortable. It smelled in the room and was not very clean.
