Jennifer, Walkertown, visiting Arizona Pete's Wed, 5 October 2016

Never staying there again!

Liked: Ummm, the bed was okay.
Disliked: Renovations everywhere! If I had known that I would stayed somewhere else. $54 for a room to hear guys drilling.

Not great and not good....

Liked: There was nothing to like about this hotel. It was a let down and Wyndam should never associate with this property. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: For starters the elevator was broken no big deal. But when you have people living in the hotel and has his own hotplate and dishes in the room there might be a problem. The security was terrible as the doors open to the street. The carpet was stained and burn markers on the floor in a no smoking room. The mattress was terrible and the price for the room was way to much for what they offer. They raised the price of the room because the furniture show was in town and all the hotels were full. Never again will I stay at that hotel.

Staff would bring me back...

Liked: Staff was very polite and accommodating. Every front desk clerk and server at meals was top notch for this level of facility
Disliked: Prop care team really needs to get on the bathroom caulking. Even a bleach pen as damage control in short term will enhance. Ultimately biggest failing was in that area. AC was loud / tv small n hard to use / curtains tattered. but for $ they are doing a good job and overall clean.

Disliked: Ants everywhere, stains on the comforter and shower curtain and unpleasant odor lingering in the room. Completely unsatisfied!

Fair - 2.7 out of 5

Liked: Quickly changed bedding when we called the front desk about soiled linen on the bed.
Disliked: The gentleman at the front desk was friendly, but he held on to my driver's license and had to bring it to my room. He had a drivers license of another guest also, that he handed to me in error. Had plenty of time to return my id during our transaction. Made me very uncomfortable!!

Only stay here if the...

Liked: We did not eat here as the kitchen/eating area was not clean and very dingy. We feel that that was a good call as we didn't want to add food poisoning to the list.
Disliked: When we arrived, we noticed a man with his pants hanging low on the hips going from door to door looking in the windows - turns out he was in charge of making sure rooms were cleaned. Many first floor doors which were made of metal had pounding marks on them which made us feel unsafe. Next, we went inside to check-in and the lobby was filthy - it was 3:00 in the afternoon. The computers were down, which can happen to any business, but we had to wait around until they came back up. My husband and I were asked to lift our feet so that a maid could sweep - broom and dustpan under our feet - floor was carpet. Too big an area - need to have a sweeper. Finally checked in and we were given the 3rd floor which was the top floor. I have trouble climbing stairs, but no rooms were available on other floors. Got up the steps - it was raining and the steps were slick, we got to a door with a sign that said do not use the steps in inclement weather, use the elevator instead. We did not know there was an elevator. Turns out the elevator which we found later did not work. The aforementioned door with the sign was open - it wouldn't shut as it was warped or something. The key lock next to the door was out of order - not safe. Finally got to our room. The room wasn't bad - just old everything. There was a hole in the ceiling over by the window and plaster was cracked there as well as on the adjoining wall. Bathroom door handle was broken. All this, and it turns out that there was a furniture convention that same weekend, so the prices of hotels were jacked up - this room was $ 257.00 without taxes. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Good stay, worth the money

Liked: Beds were comfortable. Staff was super nice especially Lisa. Rooms were clean. Good service.
Disliked: Breakfast was small. Not a lot of room to sit and eat. Could hear traffic all night passing on the road near hotel. Elevator didn't work.
