Ramada by Wyndham Columbia

They charged my card, wouldn't let me stay. Booking.com is a joke. The guy at the desk didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. Just save your time and call a different hotel.

Great hotel for the price with clean breakfast area. Modern appointments in room. Night manager quickly remedied a problem with noisy guests at 3a.m. Close to highways.

For the price (around $60.00 with taxes/fees) the room was more than I had expected. Very clean and had a fridge, microwave, etc. Will definitely be staying there again!

Good choice for travelers.

Liked: Price was tolerable. When on road trips, we only need a clean, bug free bed to sleep before moving on. This place checks all the boxes and throws in a hot breakfast. Our room was very spacious with a setting area. The location although located near an interstate was peaceful with little road noiise. Should we ever be traveling near Columbia MO again, we would choose to stay here again.

Disappointing

Liked: The people were very nice.
Disliked: The accommodations left much to be desired. The first room we were in had deep red (maybe black?) mold on the outside of the freezer. We were transferred to another room. In that room, the dead bolt didn't work. I again spoke with the manager, and she asked, "Do you need it?". Of course, I said yes. The engineer came and replaced the entire deadbolt system. When I took a shower, the shower handle was broken, and it was very difficult to adjust the temp of the water either hotter or colder or on or off. Furthermore, the handle inside the shower next to the faucet fell off. Clearly the hole where the bar fit into was rusted and too big to hold the bar. Of course, once it fell out of the wall where the shower head and handle are, it also fell out of the other hole.

Disliked: No elevator. Floors were not clean. Front desk staff was unresponsive and clearly didn’t want to be there. Was outside smoking when we came up. Took his time coming to check me in, then didn’t even greet me, but answered some texts on his phone before even addressing me.
