We walked to our show at Asbury Hall on Delaware Ave and dinner on Chippewa. Great location. $10 for overnight parking and enjoyed the pool and bar. Beds were decent but not spectacular. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Liked: Great pool and bar. Helpful staff.

I was thoroughly disappointed. I have stayed at camp sites that knew more about hospitality. Bring earplugs and expect to overpay for everything.
Liked: Convenient location. They refunded the $10 for parking when I told them how terrible my stay had been. Unfortunately, since I booked through a third party, that was the best they could do.
Disliked: The noise was unbelievable. Louder than the worst dorm I ever stayed in. No insulation on doors or walls. The room didn't have a fridge or microwave, but the room across the hall had both, though we paid the same rate for our rooms. The hotel owns a parking lot but charge 10 dollars extra to use it. The TV was broken and when they said they would send someone right up, we wasted about a half hour waiting for him to explain what was wrong and then right as we gave up to go out for an event, he showed up. The security camera in the hall outside our room was duck taped to the ceiling. They didn't include breakfast in the price of the room. Our room didn't have a "Do Not Disturb" sign. The maids replaced the soap and towels but not the coffee or cups. A former employee informed us that it was used as overflow dorms for SUNY Buffalo.

The hotel was very clean and quiet (impressive considering there was an 80's party going on) and the mattress was so comfortable.
Liked: Good.

The room was clean and nice; the bed was very comfortable. There was some peeling paint in the bathroom and the phone in the room did not work.
Liked: Hotel was clean, staff was courteous, and it was great that we could walk to the First Arena.
Disliked: We arrived at the same time as a lot of other people - it would have been nice if someone from the hotel was outside telling people where to park.

The facilities evacuation system deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately there was no system in place or announcement to let guests know the building was secure and that we could safely return to our room. Nor were there any attendants available at the hotel exits that the stairs led us to when we were evacuated. The manager the next morning asked why we would exit to the 2nd floor parking. We had to inform him that the announcement told us to use the stairs to exit the building and that is where the stairs ended. It may be beneficial for management to take a look at the exiting system so they are aware of where their guests may be standing in the case of another emergency.
Liked: The announcement/alarm in an emergency to get people out of the building.
Disliked: Accommodation was 3/5 at best. During functions, you would think the bar would be staffed accordingly. We left the bar to go elsewhere because we couldn't get waited on. Later that night, we were told room service would be at least a 2 hour wait for a sandwich until we said we would wait. We were then told it would be there sooner, and it arrived within 30 minutes.

Parking plenty but inconvenient to hotel rooms. Dining area in construction - Bar gave incorrect prices and not pleasant. Hotel broke up like a maze...difficult getting to room on 4th floor. Placed by elevator with noise till midnight. Peeling paint, broke screen, noisy, furniture needs upgrading. Overpriced!
Disliked: Yes
