Ramada by Wyndham Birmingham Airport

The hotel is run down. The room had an old/moldy smell. The hotel need to be demolished and remodeled. Random people hanging outside the hotel so safety is a big issue. I would not recommend this hotel.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Entire hotel.

3 Star hotel. Nothing special.

Liked: Location was relatively close to the venue and the cheap price was a plus. Beds were comfortable. Room included fridge and microwave. Bathroom was clean.
Disliked: Older hotel with older smells.

Disliked: After calling the hotel non stop for half an hour to use the advertised free shuttle service we got an Uber, We then had to wait as there were no staff around to check us in. The room was big and had everything we needed but dirty and old with patch up repairs that look terrible.

Disliked: The cleanliness; there was an accident in a guest’s room and their was water leakage all over in the room and outside in the corridor ; make it all messy.The breakfast was only Jam/ toast/ butter/ cereals and cold milk with coffee and juice .. no eggs/ no fruits / yoghurts or cheese.No help available with luggage transfer.. the whole place smelled mushy.

Disliked: Booked at room a month ago for the 25th of June. Requested a room close to the elevator because of health problems. And the room was at the far end of the Hall away from the elevator. I went downstairs and tried to get me another room closer but they were acting as if they did not care and did not change me into another room. Could not take a bath because there was no bathtub stopper. The tissue box had none in it. Requested decaf coffee which they never brought as they said they would. It was probably 100° in the room because they had never turned the air conditioner on. Parking was a definite super problem. The staff and owners took about six car spots right in front of the motel for no one park in. And there were no handicapped spots close to the building. Had to park out in a side parking lot. That was about 200 ft from the entrance. There was no ice bucket in the room and no ice machines on the third floor. Went down to the desk and they put me about one big scoop of ice in a plastic bag. THIS WOULD HAVE TO BE THE LAST HOTEL IN BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA FOR ME TO STAY THERE EVER AGAIN.
