Ramada by Wyndham Anchorage

Overpriced in the first place...

Disliked: They overcharged me from the quoted price. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room and I have a photo of how trashed the room was if you wanna see it.

Just ok hotel

Liked: 2 blocks from center staff were nice room was large had ac machine fridge and microwave
Disliked: Independent run had no idea about Wyndham policies breakfast was passable. Lots of army staying here. Very expensive for what it is

Do not stay here if...

Disliked: Do not stay here if you don't have to. I was traveling with a group of 14 people, and when we got to the hotel the receptionist told us that our rooms were not available even though we had our confirmation for months. She did not want to help us, and just offered to refund us without penalty. We tried to find a solution for more than an hour, and even though they overbooked and we had our reservation confirmed for months, they still threatened us to not give us the room when we expressed our discomfort with the situation.On top of having to wait to have our rooms after 10+ hours of flights, the receptions called/knocked at our doors past midnight. The awful attitude did not help to our overall discomfort

Liked: Location was so central to everything
Disliked: It was fine

Exceptional

Stay away, hotel doesn’t care...

Liked: The front desk representative amber was friendly.
Disliked: Unclean, scolding hot water, AC didn’t work, employees besides amber would rude or unhelpful. Side entrance doors left open with a brick allowing people not staying g there access to all areas. Electrical outlets on one side of the room didn’t work. They finally at 1am decided to move me rooms, hours after I notified them of all the issues. Toilet was broken in both rooms, I was able to fix it to make it work. Amber at the front desk offered 150 dollars as a refund. I called days later to ask about the refund and was told they wouldn’t be refunding 150 dollars and don’t know why amber said she would, and offered me 10% as a refund, I declined.
