Ramada by Wyndham Alpharetta/Atlanta North

Very disappointed overall with this hotel. Would not stay there again.

Liked: Beds were comfortable; price was great.
Disliked: The hotel was outdated and smelled bad in hallways and elevator; syringes and condoms in parking lot. Desk staff not overly friendly.

We made reservations on line, and put in the number of people. Then we were given a hard time by staff at check in. We came early as we wanted to stay prior day to the check in on the reservation. A lot of extra fees as they said we didn't state the number of adults staying in room . The rooms were for only 2 people but I said "look we put 4 -that is why we got 2 double beds". Was tired after being on road for days and wasn't really happy about extra fees or hassle. But it was around corner from where we were going and that was nice.

Liked: Beds were pretty comfortable.
Disliked: Room smelled really bad.

Disliked: Walls in room need paint. Stains on carpet. Fated furniture.

Disliked: I didn't like the room, it wasn't clean and didn't feel clean. The pool wasn't chlorine clean so it didn't feel clean. The hotel looked like an older model. The couch in the room looked out dated and dirty as well

Liked: Good experience. The location was good for us but 15min walking to find a few restaurants. The room was very clean, smelling good. The breakfast was ok, basic. So that's why price/quality is good. They have a pool but we didn't use it.
Disliked: We went there for 2 nights, when we came back around 9:30pm the elevator wasn't working but during the day it was working, we don't know if they turned off at nights.

Cleaning is essential in hotel...

Liked: The location of the hotel was near restaurants and shopping centers which was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My issues were cleanliness. The bathroom door had stains on it and needed to be washed. The handle to the blow dryer was beyond filthy. The shower curtain had stains on it was it wasn’t changed during our stay. The couch in our room had mixed matched cushions on one had an enormous stain on it. Like something was spilled on it but never cleaned. The bed. Under the bed there was old trash, potato chip wrappers lots of dust. The bed skirt was dusty. The mattress pads had lots of stains on them and I requested it be replaced but I was told that they cannot remove it. It was very disgusting. They gave me an extra mattress pad to cover up the stain. That was just putting a bandage over the bigger problem. The breakfast was mediocre rubber eggs yogurt cereal and waffles. Nothing spectacular. I probably wouldn’t stay here again
