No bueno in Burque

Liked: The price seemed good at the time but once I was there I saw why it was at such a low price.
Disliked: Homeless people on the premises, filming crew in the parking lot, parking lot crowded and the room was not clean and of poor quality.

It wasn’t clean! Disgusting!!! Run...

Disliked: Nothing was clean, whole in the sheets, stain on the towel, stains on the mattress, nothing was protecting the mattress and the sheet was too small so I literally on top of the dirty mattress. No blanket cover and the blanket had black stains all over it. I’ve never experienced an hotel room like this.

Huge building with a lot...

Liked: The breakfast was hot and fresh with a good variety.
Disliked: We were told to enter in the back where our room was but then the door was locked. Had a very hard time with the door knob to our room, it made it difficult to open and get in. The mini refrigerator did not work. We had to get ice from the bar or front desk which was busy. The sliding glass door in room wasn't closed all the way leaving a gap of air coming through and was screwed to keep it closed. The building looked ran down but I see a lot of potential it can have if it was fixed up right. The location was a bit scary.

Good for what I paid.

Disliked: Pool area was dirty and out of use most of stay, little to no hot water in my room, walls warping and ceiling peeling. There was no mention prior to that I would also be required to swipe my card again for a $100 deposit upon my arrival, that I will get back 5-7 days after the stay.

Disliked: Emergency exits were blocked (against fire codes), room was totally run down & had an odor. And there was a loud event going on.

Disliked: The food was ok , the paper plates and the flatware need to be upgraded sturdier pieces for the guest

Good place to sleep and...

Liked: We were there to be with relative who was patient at UNM hospital. It was very convenient.The bed was very comfortable and there were some wonderful big pieces of carved wooden furniture - very nice.
Disliked: One funny thing is that there was only one electrical outlet for TV, microwave, and coffee maker. Had to change from one to another; could not do two of these simultaneously.

Great stay, been coming to...

Liked: Breakfast was great so was the location.
Disliked: the reason I gave a 4 star for was due to the fact that one female front desk clerk had such a negative attitube towards myself and my spouse and other people checking in and gave us a room with broken chairs and worn out leather on both chairs . She stated that she was upset due to her working seven days a week. The question is , WHY TAKE HER PERSONAL PROBLEMS OUT ON CUSTOMERS????
