Grateful to have a place...

Liked: Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were so friendly and intent to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house was decorated with so many beautiful items and great care was given to surround the guests in music and art.
Disliked: The bathroom was too small and We had difficulty with taking a shower ( there was no room to put items ) and the tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner were frustrating. The tiny bar of soap was useless. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. The rug looked dirty in bedroom. The containers hanging on wall in shower were unusable and one was rusted though there seemed to be some conditioner left in one.

This place is a gem!

Liked: I'm so glad I stayed at the Raindrops on Roses B&B while I was visiting Herkimer, NY. If you love history, you will want to stay there too. Barry and Denise are exceptional hosts and made me feel right at home. It's very clean, neat, and chock full of fascinating antiques. The breakfasts were delicious. It was easy to get to all the sights I wanted to see. And I even got to meet Karma, their adorable puppy, which is an honor reserved only for unabashed dog lovers. Otherwise, you would never know she was there. I would definitely stay there again!
Disliked: I wouldn't change a thing.

Feel like at home

Liked: very friendly landlords (thanks to Barry and Denise for the warm welcome, incl. tour through the house); very good breakfast prepared with love; very nice separate living room just for us; we were the first guests from Germany, but will not be the last, as we will do a lot of advertising for Barry and Denise - and will definitely come again ourselves

Disliked: Small bathroom, need shelves to put things on, mostly just because it is an older house, nice and clean though

Relaxing Stay

Liked: Great, relaxing, restful. Exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The owners were wonderful and so down to earth. Everything was amazing plus positively the best breakfast ever.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was superb.
