Liked: We stayed at the hidden retreat and absolutely enjoyed our own private space on an acre of pine trees. The owner was very friendly and we had access to the lake and fishing and boating. The home was clean, modern and had all the amenities we needed. We are already booked another stay while we were there. I absolutely recommend this place.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like

Great place to stay with...

Liked: Steve was amazing! He was so great with my boys! One of my boys was having issues with his hook and he asked Steve for help. It’s a minute walk to the lake if that. The lake is beautiful. My boys caught over 50 fish in 4 days. (They threw them all back) It was so much fun. We will be definitely be back! They have volleyball, horseshoes, even had a football and a soccer ball for the kids to stay busy. You can rent paddle boats, aqua trikes, pontoon boats, kayaks, and canoes at a great price.

Liked: I love the cabin and the surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pleasant stay

Liked: We stayed in Pine & it was very nice & comfortable. Everything I needed to cook was in the kitchen cabinet. Maybe a good idea to take a larger skillet to cook on incase the BBQ is still not working. I liked our Host Chuck he was very helpful & friendly. We will definitely be back but we'll be planning activities outside of Rainbow lake & just go there to sleep & shower.
Disliked: We couldn't BBQ because it didn't work I had to make food on the stove & that's what I didn't want to do. There are horse shoes & other games to play on the grass. However, the sprinklers kept turning off & on in the afternoon & we kept getting wet. Sitting outside on the provided picnic table we were having a good time drinking our beer then the sprinklers came on again & we got wet. We ended up just sitting on the porch drinking because we got tired of getting wet. Unless you rent a boat there really aren't many places to fish on the property.
