Not great, unfortunately.

Liked: The only thing I liked in the hostel is the friendly staff and the common room upstairs. Also, the hostel is located adjacent to Piccadilly station.
Disliked: Unfortunately, despite great customer service and a lovely common room, the hostel room itself was a shocker. Bed sheets heavily stained, and the room smelled like a combination of severe damp and 100 people who haven't had a shower in 6 months. It's a shame.

Very poor quality

Disliked: My bedroom appeared to be an old bathroom where they had stripped out the fittings and stuck a bed in there. The mattress was very poor quality. It was extremely hot (I was there in summer) but I could also see no form of heating system so I expect in winter it is very cold. The worst thing was, there was some sort of bright green sensor in the light, so even with the light off the room was bright green. Was impossible to sleep. Raised my concerns with the staff who offered to have someone look at it the following day, but I was only there one night thankfully. Left as soon as I was able to. Also raised a written complaint through this site but it has not been acknowledged and it is 6 days later. Will not stay here again.

Good for few nights

Liked: the fact that there’s a little groceries store for the entrance is at first confusing but rlly useful cause 24/7 open. The staff is really nice and helpful
Disliked: the card for the room didn’t work for the last night, so we always had to keep it open…
