Lovely stay and beautiful surroundings

Liked: Original setting , grounds well maintained. Quiet and peaceful.
Disliked: Didn’t get room that was advertised on booking .com.

Nice hotel in a great...

Liked: I really liked the location and history of the house, plus the setting. All the food we had was excellent, great dinner and a substantial breakfast. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The relaxation areas in the hotel looked really nice and comfortable but we didn't get a chance to use them, as we just stayed one night. We went to the Main Guard in Clonmel after we checked out and really enjoyed the art exhibition there-very knowledgeable guide.
Disliked: The room was in an annex, which was OK, but it was not part of the main house, we went outside and accessed it through a yard. The bed was moderately comfortable and the bathroom, particularly the shower, was a bit dated.

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful despite the place being really busy with a big party.

Liked: Food was very good.There wasn't a balcony as advertised but the receptionist kindly moved us to a quaint room with a lovely private terrace.
Disliked: They don't appear to vacuum the floors very well but otherwise it was very clean.

Charming place to stay

Liked: This was my 2nd stay at Raheen House and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff are warm and welcoming. My room was beautiful and ready upon arrival. I especially loved my own private patio which was a surprise!
