Liked: Very good location and very nice breakfast
Disliked: Bed was a little soft for my tastes but I appreciate that is a personal preference

Liked: The staff were very welcoming. The food was delicious.
Disliked: Although the room was lovely and clean, it was quite small.

Liked: The staff were amazing and friendly, nothing too much trouble
Disliked: Our bed was only a double and we knew this but it was very bouncy and every time one of us moved it woke the other one up, so not a good nights sleep, recommend changing the mattress, we described it like a water bed!!

Amazing stay - cannot wait...

Liked: We booked a one night stay at Rafters - it completely exceeded expectations! The most beautiful property, wonderful staff, very cute bar and amazing 3 course breakfast! Amazing value for money, we will absolutely be back & stay for longer!
Disliked: Nothing!

Exceptional

Lovely relaxing break

Liked: Very peaceful and relaxing location. Lovely old building which was kept very clean. All staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Superb 3 course breakfast. Nice river walk into Bakewell and good pubs in the village itself.
Disliked: Water pipes were a little noisy in the room but probably to be expected with the age of the building.

Liked: Beautiful location, stunning building & interior.
Disliked: I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like. If I were to be nitpicking, I’d say the flow of water from the shower was pretty weak and that’s it.
