Liked: Lovely hotel, beautiful art on the walls. Friendly, welcoming staff. Comfortable standard room, extra pillows in the wardrobe which we did use. The smart room was excellent, it was great to be able to adjust the lighting and the heating/air con via the TV. Kettle and fridge in the room and plenty of teabags/coffee etc.. Lots of sofas and armchairs in the reception area and each floor, comfortable and handy for relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: A little confusing with the lights as we weren't told at check-in to put the card in the slot inside the room. The socket to plug the hairdryer in was a bit too far away from the mirror, so it was difficult to dry hair and style it in front of the mirror as it barely reached. The kettle didn't fit under the tap so we had to refill it using a glass. No issues that affected our enjoyment of the hotel.

Liked: The price was not too bad for London. It’s great that the hotel is on the river on one side- lovely walk into Battersea that way. The reception was always staffed.
Disliked: The location is not in a very nice neighbourhood and awkward to get to. The WiFi is very poor as is the phone coverage for 5g. The air conditioning doesn’t work well- it’s very loud and difficult to get right- it’s such a pity the windows don’t open. The room was also not cleaned to a five star standard- the carpets were a little musty and there were stains in the shower.
