Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton

Passable

Liked: The cool building as it’s a converted rail station. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: The a/c in our room was loud and ran all night but the room didn’t seem to cool down. There was a terrible odor in the room and elevator. Older TV and some channels didn’t work.

Overall experience was good and...

Liked: The building is an old train station converted to a fairly modern hotel. You can appreciate the original style and architecture of the building while enjoying modern facilities.
Disliked: AT one point, when filling the tub for a bath, the water turned brown. It cleared after a while but they still obviously have a problem with infrastructure in the old building. The in-room coffee service was strikingly inadequate and while the coffee shop in the lobby had decent coffee, the food offerings were dreadful. Stale, cellophane wrapped pastries and muffins were inedible and overpriced. They can do much better in this area.

Ok stay, old building with...

Liked: Location was easy to get to; parking was easy; quick breakfast delivery to the room
Disliked: The building/ facilities are very very old, and that was obvious. The carpet and furniture smelled old, and looked well used. The AC was loud and turned on/off frequently. There was no where to fill water bottles and they only provided 1 in the room. The king bed had very small pillows and it took nearly an hour to get more when requested.

Long day on the road...

Liked: The restaurant, room service and bar
Disliked: Neither TV’s worked, for crying out loud both TV’s not working

Looks like a nice hotel...

Disliked: The room was rundown, paint, chipped off the doors, beds, cheap and very uncomfortablepillows, horrible

We really enjoy staying there....

Liked: It’s a beautifully restored railroad station and gives it a lovely unique design.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing
