Lovely hotel, close to everything...
Liked: Two TVs, comfortable beds, lots of space in the rooms, very clean. The kids loved how "fancy" the hotel was. Pool was a good size. Hot tub not very hot but nice to have. There was a sauna but we didn't use it can't say how it was. Couldn't really hear planes at all which was good - definitely a good price for what we got.
Disliked: The staff we dealt with was clearly overwhelmed - only one person on the front desk and even though I did pre checkin it didn't cut down on the wait to check in at all. They never told us we needed a key card to operate the lights in half the room, there were no signs or explanations in the room at all and we have never encountered this at any hotel we've stayed at. I waited on hold for over 30 mins and my husband just went down to the front desk to find this out and waited about 15 mins in line. We ordered pizza from Uber and put in the correct location (copied from confirmation email) plus put in details of the hotel, the floor and the room), we were dealing with the delivery person on our end as it has nothing to do with the hotel, the guy went to the Monte Carlo next to the hotel - the front desk person called us after we had already received our order to basically lecture us that we didn't put the right address in and we have to be sure the right one is put in. Even after explaining that I copied it from the bottom of our confirmation email and put it in the app. She ignored me and kept saying 'well next time you need to make sure it says 'Radisson Toronto West' I even said 'im not sure how any of this is of your concern. We ordered through an app and dealt with it and got our food - so that interaction was extremely off putting I'm not sure why she felt the need to call our room and make sure we were told we did something wrong to cause the driver confusion. Anyway, poor customer service is often the reason people don't return to a place.
