Radisson Hotel Providence Airport

Liked: Very clean; staff all very nice.
Disliked: Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable; bathroom very small; breakfast was okay but was expecting something better considering it is run by Johnson and Wales.

Perfect for what I needed.

Liked: It was a convenient location, peaceful, seemingly safe.
Disliked: There was no breakfast offered at the hotel but luckily nice places nearby.

Liked: Was very clean, this was our 3rd stay and the remolded room was great. Like the big bottles of lotion and shampoo,conditioners.
Disliked: Didn’t have Clean the room sign for door. No do not disturb . Us all was good worked out. Thank you

The hotel I booked as...

Liked: The hotel was very close to the airport. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The shuttle to and from the airport was available and the drivers pleasant.
Disliked: For starters, after booking the room to attend a graduation, and days before my arrival, the Radisson became a Doubletree. There was construction going on (including the restaurant being closed). When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted the room cleaned the next day (when I would be at the graduation.) I said yes, but the room was never cleaned.

Convenient/clean with upgrades in process,...

Liked: Spacious room and nice modern renovations ongoing at the property. I liked that the room floors WEREN'T carpet, but LVP which is easier to keep clean for guests. Location was convenient to PVD airport which was necessary due to flight departure time. Restaurant was closed at the time of my stay due to reservations, but you can tell detail was going into the design (no idea on the food though!)
Disliked: Name changed between booking & check in from Radisson to DoubleTree. There was no advance notification, so it was very confusing as someone not familiar with the area. Due to renovations at the time of my stay, drive up access to the front lobby was limited and felt unsafe trying to get in/out of the entrance due to traffic on Post road. Better directions and signage for customer parking would be helpful. No breakfast (snacks available to purchase) & the "Free" WiFi is only free with a Hilton Honors account-- make sure you have data available if you aren't an Honors guest. Overall, very overpriced (almost $700 for 2 nights at a discounted rate...) but at least it was clean/accessible and the staff was very helpful.
