Liked: Second time staying, very comfortable & sights from hotel are great, friendly staff except for gentleman checking us in at front desk
Disliked: Gentleman who FINALLY checked us in after a 6 minute personal conversation on phone acted as if we were interrupting him, short snappy responses from him.

A nice place to stay...

Liked: The hotel is along the river front and very convenient to downtown LaCrosse. It has ample parking and we enjoyed a view of the city, with easy access to Riverside Park. It was a convenient and easy walk to the restaurants and bars on third street as well as the Hatchery event venue. The room was very clean.
Disliked: For some reason the lobby seems dull, with large coat racks the primary visual presence. The room seemed to lack the right lighting, leaving it a bit dark, which can be romantic, or can be annoying.

Easter Trip

Liked: The staff were very friendly. We had an issue with our room being too hot, they were quick to fix the issue best they could. Glad they were on top of things. Will definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The room temp was too warm (76), eventually got it down to (70) but had to keep the thermostat set at (63).

Short stay. Probably won’t return.

Liked: It was clean and staff were friendly. Pet friendly
Disliked: Couldn’t actually see the River it was blocked by trees and suppose to be a river view. The air condition/heat made loud bubbling noises. Beds were hard and pillows were flat. Ate at the restaurant got Wisconsin Mac and Cheese and barely any cheese or flavor. Just tasted like plan noodles. Has codes to get in and out but wasn’t explained the process or told the code I had to call both times in and out .
