Would not recommend this hotel...

Liked: Bed was comfortable, balcony was good size, atrium bar was nice.
Disliked: I had a really difficult time getting good service and very inconsistent communication. Calls to Reception and Housekeeping frequently ring out - on one incident it took 15 minutes of repeated calls to have someone answer the phoneHad constant problems with housekeeping:Day 1 - no housekeeping came to refresh the room (replace water, coffee, empty rubbish etc)Day 2 - called housekeeping at 11.15 and requested room refresh before 12- they said someone would come right away - no-one arrived called again and requested for 2.45pm, no-one came, 3.15pm called housekeeping it diverted to Reception and after hearing my problem the receptionist told me due to the environmental policy I should not expect my room to be refreshed it is not included in the hotel service - suggested if i want a clean room I could change my room. I asked to speak with a Manager. The manager was good - sent someone to clean my room, apologised and provided a drink voucher. Housekeeping took my room key. Day 3 - Housekeeping came approximately 3.30pm and refreshed my roomDay 4- No-one came -at 4.00pm I rang housekeeping, was diverted to Reception. Reception said - oh you want housekeeping to come daily, I said indeed I expect my room refreshed daily, she sent housekeeping. Housekeeping came and on this occasion I placed the sign asking for a sheet change on the bed. They did not change the sheets and did not refill the water - I rang reception to ask for a bottle of water. In addition there was a foul smell coming from the sink (honestly after the troubles with housekeeping - I didnt even bother raising this. Would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a full service hotel. It is chaotic and everyone has a different view of what the service policy is.
