Harbour location
Liked: Lovely outdoor terrace overlooking the harbour. Food was good. Comfortable bed; spacious room. Great location
Disliked: Air conditioning not working on hottest day of year - looked like it had been broken for a while, no other rooms with working air conditioners available. Service on patio was friendly but slow.

Liked: Beds and linen were very good. Restaurant food was very good value and lots of different dishes.
Disliked: Staff needed better training, especially when the fire alarm went off at 4.30am caused by them.

Did the job
Liked: Fabulous location with beautiful view of the marina. Brilliant staff on front desk. Bed comfortable. Food was fine.
Disliked: Air conditioning did not work in room on hottest day of the year- no rooms available with working air conditioning- looked like it had been broken for months….Terrible hair dryer where you have to hold the button down to make it work…. Why on earth do hotels do this.

Spacious room, lovely harbour side...
Liked: Spacious room and bathroom, lovely harbour location and outdoor terrace. Water fountain near the room to get cold drinking water. Lovely touch having freshly baked cookies and apples in the lobby for guests
Disliked: The air conditioning in our room didn’t work. We reported it to reception on Friday night (in case we were doing something wrong when trying to use it) but felt we’d be ok without fans overnight. We reported it again on Saturday morning and were told an engineer would look at it. When we returned to the hotel late that afternoon the aircon was still not working. We called reception and no one seemed to know if an engineer had been in to look at it, so were told someone would find out and call us back. We got no call back but about 30mins later an aircon unit was delivered to us but still no apology or explanation. There was also a fire alarm at around 4:50am on Saturday. We exited the building and ended up at the back of the building by the harbour. We were very surprised - and concerned - to see no Raddison staff or fire wardens directing guests or explaining what had happened. It was only when we saw through the windows other guests returning into the lifts in reception that we established it might be safe to return inside. Thankfully it was an issue with the sauna I believe, but I’d suggest your staff need revised fire training to enable guests to feel reassured and safe in a similar situation
