Pleasant but decor could do...
Liked: I traveled with my elderly parents and we’ve been allocated two rooms on the third floor. The rooms both faced onto a flat roof within an internal courtyard. Your reception staff was able to change our rooms on request after some deliberation.
Disliked: The rooms as well as most of the reception and hospitality areas could really do with a refresh. Over the last 20 years I had the pleasure to stay in your hotel on four or five occasions. Not much changed since I visited first other than the local competition, which improved greatly.

Payment process problem
Liked: Location, breakfast
Disliked: Despite informing Reception staff that I would settle my Bill in cash,my Credit Card details were taken as a contingency deposit, but the Bill for my stay was still charged to the Credit Card. I was allowed to settle with cash, but I'm still awaiting reversal of the charge to my Credit Card.

Excellent service from quality hotel
Liked: Attention to customer service was exceptional, particularly front desk (Edward) who resolved an issue with care & attention. Catering staff were attentive and friendly, they took immense pride in ensuring the delicious breakfast was well presented & we had everything we required.

Beware! Room pictured is not...
Liked: Beware! Room shown on booking.com and Radisson site is not the room you get! Paid for superior room with old town view. Room on booking.com shows vaulted ceilings beautiful city view. Was given just an ordinary room with a view of work trucks and a couple of old buildings. Most all pictures on booking.com are pictures of rooms on the fifth floor of which I think there are only 13 of those rooms. Everything else you're gonna get it's gonna be just a normal room. Went on the Radisson hotels site, and it also shows vaulted ceilings for standard superior and superior city views. Completely misleading! That is most likely NOT how your room will look. Checked in exactly at 3 PM check in time as well. Guy at front desk said there was nothing he could do, that that IS a superior room with the old town view. Talked to manager, she said there was nothing she could do either. Showed her the pictures of the room on the web and the picture of the room I took of the room I was given. She said there was nothing she could do. I'm also a Radisson member as well. Furthermore, hallways by many elevators are in disrepair. I travel extensively, you can see my reviews on booking.com. I depend on these sites to help me make choices for rooms and hotels. When the pictures of the hotel rooms you are purchasing or upgrading to are misleading or blatantly not the rooms you will get, that's dishonest. Pick another hotel, or prepare to be disappointed.
