Great location
Liked: This is our regular hotel in Sydney. It is well located and quiet. The rooms are comfortable and the staff helpful.
Disliked: This hotel is leaving the Raddison group.

Liked: The stay from check in to departure was 5 star. All the staff were friendly and attentive.We stayed on level 10 and made use of the business lounge.A special thanks to the two lovely ladies - Nadia and Duyanne (sorry if misspelled). They made time to chat and give us specialized service in the lounge, remembered us and our beverage selections and even arranged for a dairy free option custom made for breakfast on our last day.We had a lovely chat with a nice bar attendant in the Fax Bar who told me the meaning of my name in Nepalese. The room was exceptionally clean, with a turn down service. Bed was large and comfortable. Location is fantastic, we attended an event at State Theatre which was an easy 7 min walk along Pitt st.A stroll in the other direction took us to Circular Quay and the markets at the Rocks.Valet parking topped it off, knowing the hotel took care of our vehicle was comforting.
Disliked: Only thing I could say is we didn't receive the welcome fruit bowl, but considering we had full use to the lounge this wasn't missed.

Overrated, simple city stay
Liked: The bed was super comfy! Location is top too despite confusing roadworks and construction. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: Overall the rooms are screaming Old with scaling in the shower. There was some painting happening in the hole way at my level, which I want notified about. The smell was unbearable, gave me a headache. I got a tiny dark room, which overall was not a problem. Most disappointing was the fact that I notified staff in advance that was gonna be staying with them for my birthday and expected some special experience from 5* hotel. Unfortunately, got Nothing, not even a card. Made me feel neglected and ruined the experience. I believe these little things matter a lot if you claim to be 5*. To sum up, average solid 4*. Do not expect much
