Elegant hotel, comfortable rooms, central...

Liked: I enjoyed the elegant and quiet ambience of the hotel. It gives a feeling of serenity and calm especially as you walk into the foye from a bustling street outside. The room was spacious and with all the expected amenities.
Disliked: I stayed three times and had several encounters with 4 different staff at the reception and every encounter was different - from very pleasant to quite disappointing or even rather discouraging. Rooms facing the street are not soundproof and at times it can be a challenge to fall asleep especially on weekends.

Liked: The staff and the bar inside the hotel, which hosts a great ambience.
Disliked: Uncomfortable bed and pillows, very small room and quite torn out ambience and furniture.They keep a deposit of 50 euros, which is never mentioned before booking and for some people might be inconvenient. They claim that it returns back upon checkout but it takes days to appear. I cannot really believe and it's hard for me to understand why a hotel like that which is hardly three star in reality needs a deposit for torn out facilities especially when you pay 90 euros per night which is not cheap for this value that it offers, I'm afraid.I think that the managers should reconsider some stuff.

Amazing experience in the hear...

Liked: Fantastic old hotel in the heart of town. Great location walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. Room was modern and bed was amazingly comfortable! Second time I have stayed here and would not stay anywhere else. The breakfast is amazing with quality fresh breads, fruits, cheeses and eggs. First rate!
Disliked: Parking is tight and cheaper parking than what they offer at the hotel is a 5 min walk at the Coulinstrasse garage. 16 euros for 24 hours.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff...

Liked: Friendly staff, a great atmosphere, the bar for the evening, my balcony, the approachable management ( thank you Mrs Franka), the room with balcony, the big bathroom , the classic staircase when going down
Disliked: Parking situation due to a impolite family of Arabic origins blocking the driveway so we could not enter until we informed the staff and they moved their cars finally
