Fantastic Hotel

Liked: Great location, modern, clean fresh with very helpful staff. Lovely restaurant too. Excellent rooms with plenty space and facilities.
Disliked: Very little. There was some building works taking place at the entrance but just a minor, temporary inconvenience.

Exceptional

Liked: The Room. the view from the room and the location.
Disliked: The wind! The mistral blew for nine days - not the hotel's fault though.

Liked: Great location, super friendly staff. Lovely pool in a sunny spot, rare in Marseille. But they are renovating the entrance and turned the lifts off after we arrived. So a very complicated (althought well sign posted) route to get in and out of your room every day, especially with suitcases. I would have liked to have been warned about that in advance or have been offered a discount for the inconviences. Drinks in the bar also very over priced, considering drinks in local bars, but it is in a very touristy spot i guess. Which is super convientant.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and location for access to all near le vieux port!

Liked: We were given a room that had just had the floors refurbished and which had a strong odour of glue. The room overlooked an open eating area below and so there was a lot of noise. After several complaints we were upgraded and thus satisfied to not have either of the above problems.
Disliked: I had originally booked this hotel becuase of its great-looking pool, in addition to its very convenient location. However, I discovered upon arrival that the pool was not open until 1 May (after we left). Very disappointing!
