Liked: I love the beds with the soft mattress pads on them. Very comfortable
Disliked: The upper glass wall in the bathroom .. in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom and switching on the light, it's just too bright and wakes up every one else.

Reduced services for high price

Liked: It is well located, near the harbour at calm environment. Helsinki is easy reachable by taxi.
Disliked: The services were fine for a cheep two-three stars hotel but not for an expensive hotel pretending five stars. I paid EUR 621 for two nights in a standard twin room ( breakfast not included). The breakfast was not bad but rather expensive ( EUR 80 for two days). It still would be fine if at least my room was cleaned. For all my stay my room was not cleaned, the towels were not changed and the bed was not made. When I asked what was the reason I was advised that the hotel takes care of the environment and they clean the rooms only on explicit request by the guest at the reception. Of course they omitted to inform me at the check-in and in the room there was no any information in this respect. The information was available…..in the elevator . Having paid large amount of money for very simple services as quantity and quality, I felt somehow “misled” by the elevator’s notice. Maybe I am wrong and the hotel has not reduced its staff at all but my impression was that this environmental friendly novelty took care more for the financial benefit of the hotel than for the environment.
