Radisson Blu Hotel Durham

My first choice in Durham

Liked: Hotel is in a great location and walking distance to both the Cathedral and also the train station. Nice staff, easy check in/out, good sized room with a kettle and comfy beds. Would stay again.
Disliked: I felt maybe the room was a little tired, could perhaps do with a bit of a revamp. It’s also very expensive for breakfast, but that’s just part and parcel in the nicer hotels, overall it’s a great hotel.

Liked: Very friendly staff. Cocktails were excellent, but not sure of the name of the older man who made the best ones, but they were excellent

Liked: Very clean hotel, lovely spa area. Comfy beds, good breakfast, lots of choice!Friendly and helpful staff. Good location and great value for money

Lovely weekend away

Liked: Everyone was so welcoming. The room was great, twin beds, very comfortable.The pool area was good too. Situated in a nice area, only a couple of minutes walk from bars and shops but quiet.

Work trip to Durham

Liked: The room was rather spacious and very clean.One can enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink on the terrace in front of the hotel.
Disliked: The breakfast was not great, the coffee was lousy and the room service offer could be improved.

Liked: Excellent location for all the main sights in Durham and close to bars and eateries

Expected higher standards from Radisson...

Disliked: Rooms were tired and many things broken eg lamp, screen in bathroom, carpet missing, headboard worn!
