Disliked: Poor pavement marking outside. Fell over into road. Gashed knee. Dripping air on from ceiling making floor wet. Need coffee machine and walk in shower

Liked: Great 4 star Hotel. Fabulous location close to shopping area and train station with just a short journey to University. Lovely restaurant and really high quality breakfast. Room was amazing with views out beyond city to green areas and the University. Reception staff were amazing. Good quality fan supplied by management to boost a/c as we visited during a heatwave. This ensured a goods night sleep. Thank you for a perfect stay.
Disliked: Would prefer walk-in rain shower to shower (although a good one) over a bath. May next on the list for refurb

Exceptional

Will never book my stay...

Liked: I did not like anything about my stay due to the reasons explained below.
Disliked: Air conditioning was not working in spite of very hot weather. When I spoke to the staff , they let me speak with the manager. Manager was indifferent and said that they could not do anything and said that if we don’t want to stay , we can leave the hotel (at about 12 midnight) and will get a refund. They showed us another room which was no different than the first room. We were provided two fans which were not in any way sufficient for the weather. We eventually ended up staying there for the night as it was very difficult to get another booking somewhere at that time. After ruining our stay, I was given half discount in the charges, which was obviously of no comfort after the stay being ruined. Also to mention that mini bar was not cooling as well, we were provided with another small fridge which was minimally cooling.

Disliked: AC was very ineffective on a very hot day.

Disliked: Very slow check in, air conditioning didn't work in room was extremely hot and horrible to sleep in. Had a fan in the room but it was just blowing hot air about so uncomfortable.
