Whether you're in town for a sold-out gig or a weekend of live music and nightlife, this hotel delivers comfort and convenience in equal measure.

Why Concert-goers love it

Food and Drink Options

The on-site Gasworks Restaurant serves a locally-inspired menu and a deli breakfast—perfect for recharging after a late night. The Gasworks Bar offers snacks, fine wines, and draft beers until late. Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention the restaurant can get busy during peak breakfast hours and that the decor, while stylish, could use a refresh in a few rooms. A few wish for more late-night food options on-site. But overall, the experience is smooth and comfortable.

Good business hotel in good...

Liked: Check-in was friendly. Rooms are large and clean.
Disliked: Colleague & I went for an arrival cocktail while waiting for a large check-in queue to dissipate. Waitress was friendly and said she would bring our order over to table, then forgot about us. OK, human error - it happens. Very apologetic when reminded. But it happened. But our dinner experience was very similar. Sat down at 8pm. Helpful friendly waiter takes our order and explains that due to a cellar change, they only have one white wine (not on list). We order glass of white wine and glass of rose and order food. 20 minutes later - still no wine. Call passing Maître d' who explains more fully that they have neither white nor rose. Gets us two glasses of red. Comps us for the delay. Starters arrive 10 minutes later - lovely. But by 9:10pm, 70 minutes after sitting down there's still no sign of the mains. I tell the Maître d' we're not waiting any longer and he can cancel the mains. He apologises and in fairness, comps us the starters.I've driven a long way to get there. It's been a long day. I'm tired and I have stuff to do tomorrow. I need the hotel to be a support to enable me to do this - feed me and get me a drink, without having to leave the building. Didn't work out here.

Good

Liked: Waitress in restaurant was lovely! Very friendly and efficient.
Disliked: We booked a twin room but room had double bed. Receptionist warned us this may be the case but told us to ring down if it was and she would arrange for the bed to be split. We tried ringing down but reception didn't answer. Had to physically go down to get it arranged. Ate in restaurant- poor selection of drinks available and no atmosphere. Ordered a taxi at reception and they gave our room number to the driver as a reference which I felt was unsafe to do. Wouldn't feel safe walking back through an empty business park to the hotel at night.

Spacious clean room

Liked: Central location, 5 min walk to the main centre city.Lovely, large, clean rooms, lifts were very quick, great parking but you do have to pay £14.
Disliked: Pillows weren't great and the breakfast could have been better. The staff didn't keep on top of the replenishment, at around 8.20am.. there were very few offerings of hot food available. I had a fairly light breakfast due to this but everything I tasted was good.
