With a sleek, contemporary design and inviting atmosphere, it's a popular base for music lovers heading out to gigs around central London. You'll also find the British Museum just steps away, and the hotel is well-connected via Tottenham Court Road and Holborn Tube stations.

Why Concert-goers love it

Its unbeatable location near major live music venues like the O2 Academy Islington and the West End theatres makes it a go-to choice for fans. With the Elizabeth Line and multiple Tube stations within a 5–8 minute walk, late-night transport is a breeze. The hotel offers a flexible check-in from 15:00 and a quiet post-show vibe that’s perfect for winding down after a big night out.

Food and Drink Options

The on-site Bloomsbury Street Kitchen serves up Mediterranean and Japanese small plates in a lush, plant-filled setting — ideal for a pre-show bite or post-concert debrief. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the hotel bar and nearby eateries provide late-night dining options. Breakfast is available, perfect for those who danced the night away.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms can feel a bit compact for those traveling with lots of luggage, and the hotel doesn't offer on-site parking (though there’s discounted parking nearby). Also, while the restaurant is excellent, room service isn't 24/7, which may be a downside for late-night snackers.

Liz, Solihull, visiting Piccadilly Theatre London

Staff were very friendly and helpful; hotel is situated in walking distance of shops and theatres. We had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely stay there again.

Liked: Lovely hotel.

Don’t bother and save your...

Liked: Well located
Disliked: I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid what we went through. From the moment we entered our room, it was clear it hadn’t been properly maintained. The carpet was covered in fluff, the paint was peeling, and there were visible cracks on the walls. It felt neglected and unclean. The windows were particularly frustrating. They were completely frosted over and had an extra layer of glass bolted on, making it impossible to open or even see outside. Combined with the bright light shining through all night, it made the room feel extremely claustrophobic. We barely got two hours of sleep due to the harsh lighting and the stifling temperature. To make matters worse, the AC didn’t work – in the middle of summer. We asked for it to be fixed and were told maintenance would come by, but no one ever showed up. There were also loud noises all night from people walking up and down metal staircases just outside our window, making it nearly impossible to rest. The attention to detail was nonexistent. We found a letter in the room addressed to someone else, supposedly welcoming us, which didn’t inspire much confidence. The TV didn’t work at all either, and when we raised all these issues with the front desk, we were simply told there were no other rooms available.Upon check-out, we were offered a 15% discount – which felt like a slap in the face, especially after reading other reviews where guests with similar complaints received 30%. The final straw? Finding hairs on the bed.Overall, this was a deeply disappointing experience considering the cost of £250 per night for the most basic room! Between the lack of comfort, poor cleanliness, broken amenities, and unhelpful service, I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone

Our stay was (Okay)

Liked: The staff were nice and helpful. There is an Ice maker machine in each floor
Disliked: The air conditioning wasn’t working, but after I reported it, maintenance came and cleaned the filter, which fixed the issue. However, a hotel of this size should have regular maintenance to prevent such problems. The room phone also wasn’t working, so I had to go down to reception whenever I needed something. The bathroom amenities need replacing or a deep cleaning, they looked worn and not very hygienic. There are definitely better hotels in London at the same price point.

Disappointed

Liked: Location is excellent. Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: The room was a bit tired. The carpet was stained and looked old. The phone did not work. The bathroom sink tap was faulty (leaky). The room needed a lick of paint. The lifts also felt a bit dated. One of them had a cracked mirror panel. The bar was OK. Would have been better if their Mojito was stronger. I think there wasn’t a full measure in the cocktail. Finally, when I checked in the lady at reception was not very helpful. We had two issues. The first was that I had booked two rooms for two nights. One room was a double and the other was meant to be a twin. The receptionist said no twins were available. This was very disappointing as I had specifically chosen your hotel because I was able to book a twin. She made no apology for this. (I also had a further booking for one room for one night for another family member). The second issue was that on arrival, the lady at reception said breakfast was not included in my booking. This was wrong. In fact, I did book and pay for breakfast for two people for my room. I asked her to double check this and she repeated that no room had breakfast. I could not get my phone to work as I was out of charge and could not show her the Booking.com reservation showing I had booked breakfast for two for my room. This was frustrating but I chose not to make an issue about this. Fortunately, on departure, a different receptionist spotted that the breakfasts had been allocated to another of the rooms in my reservation. This was my sons’ room. Fortunately, they don’t eat breakfast so the issue resolved itself but I thought your member of staff could have been much more helpful from the start.
