Located just 12 minutes' drive from the center of Surfers Paradise this 100-hectare resort is set on a 27-hole championship golf course with driving range. Guests can choose between 5 restaurants. Opened in April 2016 children can enjoy the new water park area boasting 3 waterslides a separate toddler's pool and various water activities. Guests at RACV Royal Pines Resort can unwind in the outdoor lagoon pool with timber decking and children's slide. There are also 5 tennis courts a fitness center children's playground and a new Day Spa. Refurbished conference facilities are also available. All rooms are spacious and include individually controlled air conditioning cable TV and a mini-bar. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided. Most rooms also have a balcony. RACV Royal Pines is less than 5 minutes' drive from Metricon Stadium. Wet'n'Wild Water World and Warner Bros Movie World are both 20 minutes' drive away. Dining options at Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast range from a family-friendly Italian restaurant to traditional Japanese dining. Guests can enjoy light meals and drinks by the poolside.

Liked: Great location beautiful resort, very clean and well organised
Disliked: the air conditioning was still too cold, could not get enough warmth into the room, turned the system off to keep the room from being too cold

Liked: Wonderful helpful staff, really lovely comfortable clean room.
Disliked: The air conditioning system would not raise above 19 degrees after repeated efforts to adjust the temperature, I did call reception around 2pm in the afternoon and they said it would be defected to maintenance team, however nothing was done and I turned the air conditioning off for the night.

A great way to enjoy...

Liked: Refreshed and beautiful rooms. Staff were friendly and very accomodating .
Disliked: The outside of the building was dated and the words Royal Pines missing letters
