Disliked: Property is isolated and located quite a distance from Cambridge. During our two night stay the property held two Wedding functions closing off walking around gardens and other parts of the property. Restaurant was busy catering for the wedding and experienced slow service and meal wait times were over 1 hour. We paid premium prices and the room had no cooling systems for a hot day or refridgerator for cold water.

Very good will certainly return.

Liked: Location, room, breakfast and staff.
Disliked: The service and selection of food at dinner.

Horrible stay for many reasons...

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The room was in terrible condition — strong unpleasant smells, lots of dust, insects coming in, and really poor bedding quality. My wife has allergies and had serious breathing issues during the night, and she’s still unwell.We were also told we’d be upgraded, but the room was far from acceptable. On top of that, we were only told a few hours before check-in about a music event happening on site, which completely ruined the experience.It was meant to be a birthday trip for my wife, and it couldn’t have been worse. Please come back to me urgently on this.

Lovely chilled stay, perfect for...

Liked: The location was lovely, out of the way but close to some villages for shops. Beautiful property, rooms were really good & spa facilities were good.
Disliked: The room we stayed in didn’t have a bath & the tv was small & on the other side of the room. So when we got in, we couldn’t really watch tv. Didn’t like the food menu in the bar but that could be a personal choice more than anything

Not keen to stay again,...

Liked: Free parking, access to spa (gym and pool) included in price. Good as a wedding venue and/or conference centre as miles away from anything
Disliked: Too remote, no public transport nearby so definitely need a car, No lift to higher floors. Overall too expensive, breakfast was £22.50 each at £142 a night I thought that should have been included. Staff were friendly but didn’t seem to have any local knowledge. Ring and ride was close by but reception had to look it up on the internet - I could have done that myself. Absolutely no atmosphere
