A perfect lancaster spot

Liked: Exceptional room, perfect host, went above and beyond and all for less costs than a chain hotel in a city. Short walk from the centre of the city and overall a great experience.

Liked: I stayed with my wife on the way to a conference. We wanted to spend some time together on her birthday. The rooms are above a restaurant. The rooms were super clean and individually and tastefully furnished. When we arrived the owner greeted us (yes - she's French - from Strasbourg). I'd said it was my wife's birthday and there was a celebratory balloon (we all love a balloon) and a piece of cake ready.We ate in the restaurant - the food was excellent (I recommend the really good moule frite) . It's popular - so reserve if you are booking, You should also let them know if you need a parking space.
Disliked: It's not a dislike - but the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs. I didn't check if there's a lift (its an old building) so if you have limited mobility its worth checking that.

Quite simply perfect!

Liked: Everything! The warm welcome, smooth and easy check in. The room was gorgeous, fantastic hi-tech features, lovely attention to detail throughout and especially with regard to the service and food at breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing, all just perfect.

Lovely luxury and decadence

Liked: Beautiful design, with thoughtful touches, really nice glasses and a great shower! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, getting extra coffee.

Disliked: That breakfast needs to be preordered by 8 pm which is understandable….as an owner I would not have my cook come in early if I he/ she didn’t know if clients would show. Originally I said no as was supposed to go downtown for breakfast but due to Easter Monday….everything was closed so had to drive to different city to have breakfast.
