Amazing stay at the quirky...
Liked: The Quirk Hotel is in an amazing space, a renovated old department store. The theme is "Think Pink!" Everything is pink, from the decor to the receipts at the shop to the little heart that keys you into your room. The beds were comfy, the shower was great! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the servers in Maple and Pine, the valet guys, the front desk. We've stayed in Richmond many times (but not here) and would definitely return for the location, convenience and ambiance.
Disliked: I wish there had been a nightlight in the bathroom. But, that's it! Everything else was divine!

Disliked: Free coffee in the lobby would be a nice touch.

Liked: The staff was friendly. The hotel is really cool and inviting.
Disliked: The first room we were put in was awesome, but the AC was out and they suggested we move rooms which we did. The 2nd room we were given was much smaller and right next to a bridal party and it was pretty much noisy our entire the stay. We did call down to the front desk and the noise would stop temporarily but overall it wasn't a comfortable stay because of it.

Liked: This hotel is pink and straight out of a Wes Anderson film. Staff is super friendly and not pretentious considering it?s in the art district. Good food in walking distance and interesting street art at every corner. This hotel also gives NEST products for toiletries. This completely made my stay!
Disliked: The walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors and everyone upstairs. But there?s a cute pink white noise machine in the room so it didn?t really bother us!

Serenity in the City
Liked: The Quirk staff were all extremely courteous and helpful throughout my stay, and even before I arrived via email communication. I was grateful to have a room with a fabulous bathtub that allowed me to soak away 15 hours of a non-stop international flight, and a host of activities that had preceded it. Also, they were very compassionate as I had to work through a number of items related to returning to the states after being gone for a year which required a bit later check out. Loved the quirkiness of the interior decorating and comfort of the bed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Thank you all for everything.
Disliked: I honestly can't think of anything. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, I was so exhausted and had so much to do that I didn't get to explore the restaurants, but was appreciative of an opportunity to at least see the rooftop view (and a rainbow) while it was being prepared for dinner after yet another rain storm.
