Passable

Disliked: The receptionist staff were amateurs in hospitality and felt like they were there to do just the minimum of checking you in and checking you out. Perfectly polite but expected them to be more professional and friendly.

Liked: Great location and lobby bar.
Disliked: Phone in room didn't work to call for help with room issues, sink stopper stuck in closed position. Valet no there to get car at 7 am. Front desk left unmanned at 7

Hip design hotel near downtown...

Liked: Contemporary art, modern design, hip
Disliked: Cargo train line, electric transformer next door make it loud; complicated shades on floor-to-ceiling windows often fail to work; café in atmospheric old house had no heat (!); percolating coffee maker system not convincing
