Quincy Hotel Melbourne

Would 100% stay at Quincy...

Liked: Location is unbeatable if you are doing a little bit of everything in Melbourne. Staff are lovely and approachable. I was able to check in at 11am because my room was already ready which was amazing after an early travel day. Everything right outside the door. 7Eleven just opposite the hotel. The room was bigger and prettier than I expected and furnishings accompanied the room very well. 10/10 bed, not too soft and not too hard. There is a pillow menu available. Great light options throughtout the room, although, sidenote, the lighting in the bathroom is a bit too dark to be doing makeup in. The minibar snacks are not your usual snacks in the best way. Love the chips a whole lot. Great choices!! The bathtub was a bonus, and the rain showerhead was lovely.Food at Quincy by Salted Egg is exceptional, I have to make a special mention to the Tiffin Service meal which was amazing. I ordered room service several times and the staff were always very accommodating.
Disliked: Although breakfast at the Salted Egg is superb, there must have been miscommunication from staff as I was informed that breakfast finished at 11, signage inside elevator also said that breakfast ended at 11, however I went down for breakfast the next day at 10:30 and was told that they closed and finish breakfast at 10. Also, the breakfast is still listed on the QR code room service menu inside rooms so I ordered, however, I was called back 10 minutes later and told that it was unavailable as they only did buffet breakfast. By the time I received that call, it was too late to go down for breakfast before it ended. So I did unfortunately miss out twice.Just a side note that the body wash and conditioner bottles in the bathroom were near empty when I arrived for my 4 night stay.
