Liked: Great staff, location, room, services
Disliked: It’s missing a scale and a makeup mirror but that’s really if the property really wants to go above and beyond

A wonderful Wellington welcome
Liked: An incredible hotel! The staff are so lovely, and the building is only a few doors down from the Wellington Cable Car, as well as surrounded by stores galore and right next to public transport. It felt like everything I wanted to see during my stay was right outside my door, and at the end of the day I could immediately slip back into the room and relax. The staff offered some suggestions for local attractions as I was checking in, as I mentioned I was touring the country, which made me feel like they were actually listening during our small talk and eager to share their knowledge of the city with me. I would happily stay here again if I were ever in the area.
Disliked: I don't fault the staff or the hotel for this, as I'm sure it's far out of anyone's control, but parking is a nightmare. The parking complex is accessed via The Terrace, the street BEHIND the street that the hotel is actually on, and the complex is shared with another, completely separate hotel. You need a key card to get into the parking complex, so you have to check in before being able to park, and there's really nowhere in front of the hotel you can (legally) park to do so. The hotel is actually prepared with a printout to hand to you, with instructions on how to access the parking, which was incredibly helpful! I honestly would have gotten so lost without it. Additionally, the ramps of the parking complex are very tight corners with narrow ramps, which definitely did nothing to ease any stress. As I said, this isn't the fault of the hotel, since obviously they're not in charge of the city's infrastructure- and ultimately I'd rather have complicated parking than no parking at all. Just be warned- maybe leave your car behind if you're heading here!
