Queenswood Hotel

Best break for many years.

Liked: Everything. Made to feel so welcome. Hosts were exceptional. Lovely location and spectacularly clean and warm. Breakfasts would be hard to beat. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely place, inside and out.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable. Great view from room. Lovely hotel. Close to seafront and town. Free Parking on road outside. Few spaces on hotel forecourt but found it easier to park just next to hotel. Bar area was very nice. We didn't have breakfast so couldn't comment on that. Andrew, the owner friendly and helpful. Everything we needed in room. Bathroom very clean, modern fittings. Toiletries supplied.
Disliked: Only small fault was ceiling in bathroom very low and sloping in parts. Had to remember to duck!. Not that big a deal but if you were very tall might be more awkward. Nothing owners can do as it's an old and quirky property.

Awesome Service, Awesome Hotel and...

Liked: We received a friendly welcome on arrival by Andrew. Staff were all polite and friendly throughout our stay. The room as well as the hotel was clean at all times. Breakfast was great just as described. Andrew had a lot of knowledge around the area and pointed us in the right direction. Overall a very good stay and would highly recommend to all! 5*****
