Reading a previous very negative...

Liked: 10 minute walk from Dharmamati Tibetan Buddhist Centre where I attended a retreat. En suite bathroom was clean with good supply of hot water. Room serviced every day with fresh towels. Polite and friendly staff on reception. Breakfast was basic but adequate with fresh bread rolls cheese yoghurt and a muesli and the coffee was quite good.
Disliked: There was no blind or curtain on the window so the room could not be made completely dark for sleep and I woke with the early morning sun at 4am. There was no hot drink making provision in the room. The bed was basic.

Liked: Clean bed. Good public transport. Nice staff.
Disliked: Tv wasn't working. There was a lot of dust on the floor and under the bed. Shower had missing sliding doors. Breakfast wasn't the best either. No air-conditioning.

Disliked: We come in Hotel at 01:00 at night go to sleeping and in 07:00 some guy come to our room wake up us because he is some mechanic to fix something. Unacceptable

Liked: Not a great deal if I’m fully honest. The staff were fine. Price was ok but not given the state of the place.
Disliked: Upon arrival, the hotel is a building site with lack of parking available. The hotel itself is very tacky. British themed. Understandable with its history but it could have been done with much better taste (random crow taxidermy, for instance) Now onto the room itself - mould in the bathroom with no ventilation, shower door didn’t close properly meaning the floor got flooded after every shower, the shower head itself was all wonky and loose so you couldn’t actually shower with it without it going all over the place and the whole bathroom itself wasn’t very clean, there was a mirror was tucked behind the wardrobe because a lamp was plugged into a socket that would have been behind the wardrobe. The pillows were absolutely horrible, beds were firm, room was roasting regardless of the window being open or not. All in all, one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Europe.
