Passable

Liked: The room had a balcony on the first floor. You could see most of the pleasure beach and it was nice to sit outside in the evening as it was pretty hot when we were there. Bed was comfy.
Disliked: The toilet started making a noise when flushing was working fine until about 5 o'clock in the morning when my partner got up to go to the loo. I think there must have been an air lock somewhere in the system as it happened somewhere else above us as well.

Very Poor.

Liked: Location. Nothing else is really worth mentioning.
Disliked: There is no parking other than road parking that was completely full so had to pay to park in carpark over the road. One of the staff members was walking around with no shoes on. The lift was from the 2nd floor only. We were charged £1 to use the Iron and Ironing board. There were no towels in the room and when given some after asking they were damp and had black marks on them. Pretty sure they were used by someone else prior. Although it states on the notes there is no hairdryer this is not something I would check usually so bring a hairdryer.

Couldn't wait to leave, left...

Liked: The location is great
Disliked: Awful. The bed wasn't made, dirty sheets, no towels, 1 mug instead of 2, broken wardrobe in room, fag burns in carpets, mould and dirt everywhere. The place genuinely smelt like dead people.

Not very impressed spending £82...

Liked: Location was great with being so close to the sea front and closeness to the amusements and facilities in the area. Small parking area round the back.
Disliked: When we arrived to book in for our stay, the host greeted us on a facetime call to someone and paid little to hardly any attention to us when we arrived, not very welcoming at all. We were told to fill in a piece of paper with our details with no assistance or hospitality. A friend of mine had booked a separate room and was told 2 different room numbers and had to return to reception when told the wrong room. When we arrived to our room after having to walk on sandy/unhoovered carpets and passed dirty hand rails, we looked to use the en suite which was dirty and not well presented. The shower, floor and sink mirror were filthy and when my partner wanted to take a shower discovered we had 1 towel between us even though I had booked a double room. There were no features such as table lamps to subtle down the baron room and the hot drink facilities provided meant we would have had to have shared 1 tea bag between 2 of us and that was all that was provided. The door frames were split which raised concern for whether we were secure in the room. Everywhere looked dated and additionally to that the floor boards creeked and rattled so much every time we walked around the room, the cups and glasses rattled as if an earthquake was beginning.

Avoid at all costs!

Liked: Location was good, but that is the only positive
Disliked: Dirty, old, unhelpful staff, loud, needs new mattresses, needs new carpets, needs a cleaner, needs new management. Absolutely shocked that this hotel is being sold on booking.com. At midnight some food was left in the restaurant, still there next morning. No towels in room, asked for some and was given wet towels! No idea why they were wet, but obviously we refused to use them. What looked like a tooth left in the sink. No help from the reception staff and no one manning the hotel to complain to. This didn't seem to be a hotel, this felt more like a youth hostel at best. Don't go here, especially if you have children.
