Anniversary bliss

Liked: At check in we were greeted by Jack who was very chatty and welcoming. When we said it was our 41st anniversary he presented us with a voucher for complimentary drinks. The room was perfect and the breakfast excellent. All staff were very professional and efficient
Disliked: Nothing to report

Great hotel and excellent location....

Liked: Location, standard, size and room size.
Disliked: Our room was way too hot, AC wasn’t working properly. It was a v hot day to be fair.

Lovely room in a great...

Liked: It’s a beautiful building, in a great location. We had a lovely room, small but obviously refurbished with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and good service from all the staff.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Overall good despite unhelpful checkin...

Liked: Good location, clean and reasonable service.
Disliked: The reception staff were not very helpful. I arrived shortly after 2pm and was told my room was not ready but they will call me when it was ready. I sat in the lounge waiting but it was obvious there was no follow up by staff. I watched them check other guests in but still no call from staff. I know I was early but there must of have been scope for a room juggle but no effort was made in that respect. I then expect staff to act on what they say which was not the case. Overall it left me with a very poor impression of the reception staff.
