Exceptional

Liked: Very clean and central. Breakfast was excellent, and the setup with key codes was good. Met the staff at breakfast, and they were extremely friendly.
Disliked: The only issue was that the sensor lights in the staircase were set for a taller person, this ment I had to walk down halfway before the lights came on.

Liked: Breakfast was good, Rooms were good, Showers were good.
Disliked: It wasn't clear to me on booking.com that there are no staff on site. So we didn't get the welcome we expected, only a rather irritated phone call asking whether we had checked in yet.Breakfast was good quality, but rather spoiled by the cook complaining that she hadn't been provided with the right supplies.I was expecting a traditional old pub/restaurant/hotel at the heart of the town. The accommodation was actually fine, but not what I expected. Perhaps the booking sites could be clearer.

Disliked: Very limited instructions, was more of an Airbnb than a hotel. Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, and only instructions on how to get access to one of the rooms. Then given a bollocking the day after for accessing the wrong room !!!!!
