Very good

Liked: Staff were very friendly, the room was clean, warm and comfortable and the location is great for a city centre stay.

Superb

Liked: Quiet room allocated (free upgrade).Lovely historic building & decor.Superb breakfast.Friendly staff.
Disliked: No car park or free parking but close enough to City Centre to walk.

Liked: It wasn't mentioned at reception but I think we got a room upgrade - a very nice surprise after a long train journey with heavy bags. Loved all the little touches - china teacups in the tea and coffee making facilities. Lots of character and charm in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and fantastic value.
Disliked: Nothing to note - it isn't the ritz... it has what you'd expect from an older hotel on the more budget end of the spectrum. But really nothing to complain about!
